Fire bricks are perfect for the construction of wood fired pizza ovens. All of our fire bricks have an alumina content of 40%, meaning they can be fired to a working temperature of 1350°C.

Our fire brick floor tiles are of the highest quality and are perfect for the floor of your wood fired oven. Fire brick tiles are great for lining the floor of wood fired ovens, as they are built primarily to withstand high temperatures, but also have a low thermal conductivity for greater energy efficiency. These bricks can be cut at home, provided you have the correct equipment (when you’re cutting dense fire brick, make sure you wear a suitable dust mask in addition to the normal safety gear).

Fire bricks are the best brick option for wood fired pizza ovens, as heat is released more evenly and slowly, meaning that you are less likely to burn your food.
